It just seems like the industry is in such a malaise. No hiring happen especially at upper levels, just very slow and steady- no growth. Even very skilled jobs being outsourced to vendor partners overseas

Malaise is correct. Until our industry makes apparel products that are more compelling than electronic devices and streaming services, we are going to be stuck here.
